Three in One

This is the best design of a new kind of pot I've ever seen.

I only go to weddings for the food.

Cherry Blossom Girl, Alix, posted photos from her wedding, and I have to say the food looked delicious. I'm seriously salivating over these photos right now. And all I have to eat at my desk are peanuts.

Like Rings in a Tree

I saw these Bono Bowls from Design House Stockholm at a store on Fillmore Street the other week (a very expensive, design-y, modern store) and thought they were *almost* worth buying at $50. But they're so tiny I would rather admire them for their beautiful design.

In a perfect world, I'd be able to trade a painting for these bowls.

Madewell for Fall

I love American clothier, Madewell, for an assortment of reasons, but mostly I love them for their laidback looks. I love comfortable, and cute and earthy colors, especially for autumn. This is my little wishlist from Madewell for the perfect fall outfit. Ben Simon, blue, high-top sneakers; thin brown sweater; black with white stripes, boat-neck shirt; Windy Weather jacket (I love olive green) and these rail-straight, dark-washed jeans that would go perfectly with my new Wanted Oxfords.

A girl can dream, can't she?

Hopscotch@Home

Sometimes a home needs a little humor. Just imagine that when you're leaving for work in the morning and you really don't feel like it and you get to the front entrance and there's a hopscotch rug on your way to the door; now wouldn't that put you in a much better mood? It'd sure make me happier!

A Guide to Hats

I love Rifle Paper Co's prints. They're all so adorable and creative. Not to mention the colors!

I'm such a color-whore.

Benches and Balloons.

For some reason, balloons and benches seem to show up a lot in photos online. This is my favorite collection of balloon and bench photos. And just for yucks, here's an adorable snowglobe couple on a bench!

Best. Lines. Ever.

One of the most inspirational artists that I've been lucky enough to discover is Claire Wendling. Her art isn't some famous comic in the United States, but her art books are some of the most high in demand in the art community. Her style is artistic and pushed to the edge, yet she carries all her knowledge of anatomy, light, and weight in every line.

There's something haunting and inspiring in everything she draws.

Chalk it up to a Nostalgic Sense of Style

There's something about blackboards that make me feel like I've traveled back in time. White boards (while superior in writing sound) just don't cut it for my nostalgic senses.

This adorable little chalkboard for sale up on Etsy would be perfect for hanging up on my fridge or by the front door since I'm always leaving little notes for my roommate and my boyfriend there on stickynotes anyways!

Unkempt Bolan

There's always something about Marc Bolan that makes me happy. He seemed so in love with the world and yet his music is often times the most intense heavy glam-rock of the time. I love this photo of him because usually he's so dressed up and hiding behind eye make-up and a lot of hair. This is Marc Bolan: raw.

Alternative Apparel; where to get this awesome Marc look.

11:11

I always make the same wish at 11:11. Tonight I glanced at the clock and made my wish. And I wondered what 11:11 inspired in others, so I searched "wish 11:11" in Flickr and found some amazing photos all having stories along with them. There's always a story about a wish. And sometimes it inspires other wishing times like blowing on dandelions and eyelashes.

Earthy in the City.

Another awesome photo from The Sartorialist.

I love this girl's color scheme; her bag, her skirt, her black shoes and sweater. It's so earthy and I love that. And her hair color! It's pretty much the same as mine but mine never looks that shiny!

The best part? She's not riding a fixie. Way to go against the grain!

PS! I need a new (used) bicycle so badly! Mine was stolen last fall from the basement of my apartment building. And I would love to be able to ride over the GG Bridge again to Sausalito someday... why, oh why are some people so mean they have to steal bicycles??!

Jackets Galore

While visiting Santa Cruz this weekend with my awesome friends Vanessa, Mike and Ally, I happened to look into the windows of a cute little shop that had the most adorable jackets. Of course, at 8pm, the store had just closed and I couldn't go in to look at them (which is probably better for my bank account), but I looked at the tag on the inside of the cute double-breasted pea-coat in the window and saved the name on my phone.

I looked them up today; a cool little clothing line called Tulle, and found a bunch more awesome jackets! I happen to love this particular one because of the cut and the unconventional buttons. But really, I think I love almost all of them.

Knock on Wood

I found these clocks today and despite my limited income, I am nearly on the verge of purchasing one. Can you resist Furni's awesome designs?

Jen is bringing back old school.

I have to say that my respect for Jennifer Aniston has always been pretty high - she was fantastic on Friends and one of the funniest actresses I had seen on TV. Reading about her recent interview and photoshoot in Harper's Bazaar Magazine made me happy to know that she is not only a fun, awesome actress, but she also has immense respect for another great actress before her; Barbara Streisand. Which is pretty awesome to hear about now considering who is "cool" vintage, like Audrey Hepburn.

So keep rockin' the Funny Girl look, Jen.

Jennilee Marigomen seems to capture it perfectly.
