Something about Silver and Turquoise

The only rings I ever want to wear casually are rings that are made of silver with turquoise in the design.

This one is high on my list, not to mention it's vintage!

SJP and Leather = Bad Ass

I don't know what's with me this weekend, but clearly there are looks that never go out of style... even if they are from the 90s.

Asos motocross jacket, Sam Edelman Dupree boots, American Apparel fine jersey T dress, Fossil Sasha black, leather clutch.

Ceramic Antlers

There's something about nature inspired design that completely hooks me. I'm pretty much a woodsy-girl at heart, and I hope to someday live in a log house in the mountains, so this would probably explain why I love this ceramic, antler chandelier. Of course it's about $6,000 and that falls out of my $60 lighting budget at the moment.

Missing the Pac N'West

Maybe I'm channeling the some Kurt Cobain crica 1991 or something, but whatever it is, I really, really want these.

Alternative Apparel for the sweater, American Eagle for the jeans and J.Crew for the rockin' wristwatch.

Stripey Cupcakes

Anyone who knows me, knows that I love making vegan cupcakes, and these cupcake liners would make any cupcake ten times more delicious.

You can find them at sweetestelle's shop on Etsy!

Gossip Never Hurts

Issue #197 - October 1927

Old magazine covers are one of my favorite finds. This particular one is of an old movie magazine called Photoplay. The artist is Charles Sheldon, and it is of actress Dolores Costello. I'm guessing this was done in pastels. The minimal use of colors is perfect for the composition plus you can never go wrong with yellow. And check out the way half of her cute, cloche hat is just made up of empty space.

And at 25¢ it's totally a steal!

Gene Kelly Love

I've always admired Gene Kelly's semi-preppy style. The slick hair and the simple sweater - minus a button-up underneath with sleeves rolled-up and a pair of wide-leg trousers. Couldn't ask for a better style role-model for being classy and cool.

The man had talent, looks, style and was just all-around amazing. He took the fancy-shmancy world of dancing and gave it an athletic twist. He was the laid-back guy who made other guys go, "Wow, maybe dancing isn't just for girls and Europeans."

It may be raining outside, but I still want sandals.

These rainbow ones from Fossil to be specific.

I'm pretty sure that footwear is the best part of summer style.

One in yellow, please.

I've been dreaming about purchasing a yellow Vespa recently, and in my search for other scooters and mopeds I came across the retro, German-owned, Simson scooters. The company went bankrupt in 2002 but who wouldn't want one of these vintage ones!
