Moving!

Hey everyone, just wanted to let you know that I am moving the Blondish from Blogger to Tumblr!

There are a few reasons why I'm switching over, but the main reason has been that although Blogger is quite customizable, it was lacking the customizations that I wanted for the overall look. Not to mention the posting system is terrible with its 20 tag limit and inability to alter color on text while in the Chrome browser.

At any rate, the new the Blondish will be much slicker and faster and hopefully easier to follow, but I will leave this up so you can always go back and check out older posts!

Steven Alan Fall 2011

I really think these new looks from Steven Alan for the fall are gorgeous. But then, I'm also biased towards fall fashion anyways.

Victorian Inspired

Lately I've been working on a lot of Steampunk artwork and I've been really inspired by a lot of Victorian designs. Aside from the corsets (I'm not a fan of female body manipulation that causes ill health effects), I love Victorian style!

Mary and Max

A clip from the film, Mary and Max, that Ryan and I watched a few nights ago.

Max as you can see, wasn't shot in black and white, but rather, everything was designed in black and white. Mary, a little girl in Australia who randomly writes to Max as a pen pal, has a color palette all in sepia. It's brilliant really. And also streaming on Netflix... so you have no excuses about not seeing it!

Paris...

Ryan and I have tickets for Europe this October. I've never been before, but I've been dreaming for almost a decade of visiting. Paris has always seemed like a mecca for artists and I can't wait to go there, almost more than any other city we will be visiting.

I love this short from Paris je t'aime. Along with all of the other shorts in the film. I can't wait to go.
